Low-Level Laser Therapy in Newcastle

The Future of Medicine

Healing with Light, Backed by Science

The Future of Medicine

At MSK Sports Injury Clinic, we offer Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)—also known as photobiomodulation therapy—using industry-leading technology such as THOR Laser. This advanced treatment uses gentle, low-intensity light to stimulate healing in muscles, joints, and soft tissues.

LLLT is painless, drug-free, and scientifically proven to reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and speed up recovery—making it an excellent option for a wide range of conditions.

Precision Light Therapy for Proven Results

How LLLT Works?

Low level lasers deliver specific wavelengths of light to damaged or inflamed tissues. Lasers and LED’s produce intense beams of light at specific wavelengths. When the right wavelength at the right intensity is used at the correct anatomical location for the right amount of time you can stimulate repair, resolve inflammation and reduce pain. light energy is absorbed by cells, which boosts cellular repair and regeneration, increases blood flow, and reduces pain signals and inflammation.

I came here specifically for shockwave therapy on a hamstring tendinopathy that wasn't budging. With the help of Mark and Abbi, and 4 treatments later, I'm managing to run again pain free! Thank you.

Mark was recommended to me by a friend who has been using him since he first started in practice. My first appointment with mark was painful but I have noticed a massive improvement in my arm mobility and also my pain and discomfort in my back pretty much gone. Mark was professional, explained clearly how he was going to treat my arm and back. He even warned me that I’d experience discomfort whilst he was treating me! He wasn’t wrong! I have a 2nd and 3rd treatment booked. 100% recommend. Thanks for getting me feeling back to normal so quickly! Wayne
Response from the owner:Hi Wayne, thank you for taking the time to leave such a great review and for the recommendation—it’s really appreciated. We’re pleased to hear you’ve already noticed such a big improvement in your arm mobility and that your back pain has settled so quickly. While treatment can sometimes be uncomfortable, it’s great that Mark was able to clearly explain the process and set expectations so you felt informed throughout. We look forward to seeing you at your upcoming appointments and continuing to support your recovery.

Mark has worked wonders on my frozen shoulder and knotted muscles. I was in so much pain that my daily routine had come to a halt. The deep tissue massage and focussed shockwave treatment along with all of the other stuff he does has loosened everything up. I now have full mobility in my shoulders and the pain has disappeared. I now go to MSK every month to keep myself supple and pain free. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending MSK to all my friends and family.
Response from the owner:Hi, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave us 5-stars. It's very much appreciated. Glad to hear you're feeling relief from the treatments. Best wishes, Team MSK

Been to see Abbi twice now with a torn meniscus. Abbi went through exactly how I caused the injury in great detail and performed massage on the surrounding area, cupping and shockwave therapy. Rest is required after shockwave and knee aches for a day or so afterwards but seems to be making a difference after only 2 visits. Also received an exercise plan. Hopefully keep improving over the next couple of weeks and won’t require MRI or operation. Worth the money.
Response from the owner:Hi Jason, thank you for your detailed review—we really appreciate you sharing your experience. It’s great to hear that Abbi has been able to clearly explain your injury and provide a structured treatment approach, including hands-on therapy and a tailored exercise plan. As you’ve mentioned, some post-treatment soreness can be expected after shockwave therapy, but it’s encouraging that you’re already noticing a difference after just a couple of sessions. We’re glad you feel the treatment has been worthwhile so far and look forward to supporting your continued progress over the coming weeks.
