Strong Ankles, Confident Strides.
Ankle pain is discomfort or soreness in or around the ankle joint, often caused by injuries like sprains, arthritis, tendonitis, or overuse.
Symptoms of ankle pain can include a dull ache, sharp or stabbing pain, and swelling around the joint. The affected area may also feel tender to the touch and appear bruised or discoloured if there’s been an injury. Stiffness and reduced range of motion are common, making it difficult to walk, stand, or bear weight on the ankle. In some cases, individuals may experience a popping sound at the time of injury, followed by weakness or instability in the joint. Pain may worsen with movement, especially during activities like walking, running, or climbing stairs, and improve with rest or elevation.
