Amy McCartney

Amy is a Soft Tissue Therapist who graduated with a degree in Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation accredited by The British Association of Sport Rehabilitators (BASRaT). Amy has a vast amount of clinical experiences working with clients suffering from work based aches and pains along with professional athletes. She is currently a Sports Therapist for Sunderland A.F.C. working with both male and female teams such as the Pro Game Academy. During and after graduating from university, Amy went on to further her skills as a therapist and become further qualified in multiple treatment modalities making her stand out from your traditional graduate. She went on to become further qualified in medical acupuncture, myofascial dry cupping therapy, shockwave therapy, IASTM and kinesiology taping.

Amy is very passionate about helping her clients stay out of pain whilst keeping them active. Amy achieves this by using a manual hands-on approach along with using multiple treatment modalities during a single treatment. Amy believes that using a multi treatment method approach is the best way to speeding up client’s recovery, keeping the client moving and helping them live better pain free.
