To ensure the highest standards are kept, we passed and are registered with Newcastle City Council to ensure our clinic procedures, equipment and facilities comply with the local byelaws - are safe, hygienic, prevent the spread of disease, and comply with the duty of care as required by the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Mark Poolan
Clinic Director and Soft Tissue TherapistI started practicing in 2011 after graduating from the University of Northumbria. Since graduating I worked in one of the top Sports Injury Clinics in Newcastle gaining knowledge and experience treating a wide range of patients from adolescence to professional athletes. My biggest achievement to date was getting recognised from the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science as a Certified Exercise Practitioner (CEP). I am currenty the only person in the North East to hold a CEP status.

Clinic ManagerFollowing her passion, Laura has excelled with a first-class honours degree in Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation. Laura's education and personal development qualifications has led to her specialising in treating clients with back, hip and sciatic pain through the use of manual therapy and Pilates exercise. My biggest achievement to date is having two of my research papers critically acclaimed and published in the Newcastle College Seven Bridges Journal.

Senior Soft Tissue TherapistSteven is a Soft Tissue Therapist who lives and breathes our vision and philosophy and has continued his professional development and went onto become further qualified in Advanced Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Myofascial Dry Cupping, Shockwave Therapy, IASTM and Osteopathic Manipulation Techniques. Since his lower back surgery, Steven has taken a particular interest in the rehabilitation from lower back and sciatic pain. In his spare time, Steven is a keen runner, which he has developed an interest in lower limb pain and rehabilitation.

After completing her BSc and MSc in Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation, she has went on to continue her professional development and become further qualified in myofascial dry cupping, medical acupuncture and osteopathic spinal manipulations. Sarah strongly believes in a evidence based hands on manual therapy approach in order to facilitate and achieve patient specific goals.

Amy has a vast amount of clinical experiences working with clients suffering from work based aches and pains along with professional athletes. Amy is very passionate about helping her clients stay out of pain whilst keeping them active. Amy achieves this by using a manual hands-on approach along with using multiple treatment modalities during a single treatment. Amy believes that using a multi treatment method approach is the best way to speeding up client’s recovery, keeping the client moving and helping them live better pain free.
